Financial support for our beloved community
Join us in supporting each other with your financial contribution to the fund! Any amount helps reach our goal of mutual aid and collective support. Donate via our PayPal page to the fund to support transportation, medical care, mental health care, food, housing, and more for our QTBIPOC community members! Donations are tax deductible!
How it Started…
In the early days of the COVID19 pandemic, an infusion of funds allowed AAoC to distribute $75,000 to over 70 QTBIPOC, helping to pay for needs like surgeries, medication, transportation and mental health care. Our support looked like:
25 people received $1,200 for mental health support.
20 people received $2,000 for medical bills.
And more!

How it’s Going…
When the COVID19 funding ran out, AAoC shifted toward answering informal mutual aid requests as we are able. We have supported things like:
Dinner when someone lost their job.
Last minute moving fees post-eviction.
Funeral fees for someone experiencing loss of a loved one.
And more.
Your support could look like:
$25 A local Lyft ride for a community member to get to work on time
$50 One meal for a community member who hasn’t eaten today.
$150 One bodywork session for someone recovering from top surgery.
$300 One community dinner after doing court support together.
$1600 Two months of out of pocket, culturally relevant therapy costs for someone grieving the loss of a loved one.
$3000 Moving costs for a queer family evicted from their home.

Community Testimonials
“I personally benefited from this fund in 2021, when I needed financial support in paying for my upcoming surgery. For that reason, this fund has made an INCREDIBLE impact on my life.”
“This past April my three kiddos and I had to find new housing and move in less than 20 days. Karissa and Fox not only helped us move, but also bought my kids and me a meal afterwards. It was the kind of support I was needing so badly as a single parent. Thank you AAoC, from the bottom of my heart.”
